DynaWare24 Simulator Guide
What is the DynaWare24 Simulator?
The DynaWare24 Simulator allows users to virtually replicate the functionality of the physical hardware. It enables you to perform drops, adjust settings, view and analyze data, export results, among other capabilities.
You can use the program to train new users, explore new features, and experiment with various settings to enhance your understanding and proficiency with DynaWare24.
The DynaWare24 Simulator is accessed via DynaHub.
Notes about prerequisite software
The DynaWare24 Simulator relies on several essential software packages to function correctly:
MongoDB: This database software is crucial for managing and storing data within the simulator.
Pylon: This software is necessary for interfacing with the camera system, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
Both programs are required for the proper use of the DynaWare24 Simulator. Fortunately, during the installation process, DynaHub will automatically install these prerequisite programs for you.
How to install DynaWare24 Simulator
Ensure you have a valid license for DynaWare24.
Open DynaHub and install any updates that may appear to ensure you have the latest features and compatibility.
Navigate to the
"Software Center"and select"DynaWare24 Simulator".Click the
“Download”button at the bottom of the page and allow a few minutes for the download to complete.Follow the installation wizard prompts, making sure to install any prerequisite software listed, which may take several minutes.
Finally, restart your computer when prompted to finalize the installation.
After your system restarts, DynaWare24 should be ready for use.
How to use DynaWare24 Simulator
After completing the installation steps, open DynaHub.
On the Home Page, select
“DynaWare24 Simulator”:Click the
"Launch"button to start the simulator server:A command prompt window will open—this is normal. Simply minimize the window and wait a few seconds for the server to initialize.
Once the server starts, you will notice a new item in the
“Hardware”list.Click on this new item, and on the right side of the screen, you will see another
"Launch"button. Click this button to start the DynaWare24 application.
These steps will successfully launch the DynaWare24 Simulator for use.When you want to shut down the DynaWare24 Simulator, go to the DynaHub home screen, press the
“DynaWare24 Simulator”on the Software list, and press the red“Shut down”button
Troubleshooting
DynaWare24 stuck in offline mode
Sometimes, the AR Simulator does not start correctly, and you may need to restart it. Open the AR Sim and press restart.:
You know the AR Simulator works correctly if it says “online”
